The site is made using Adobe CS3: Dreamweaver, Illustrator, and Photoshop. The design is based on the Gardenally template by Free CSS Templates, released for free under a Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 License. This is incredible value, for the templates are very well thought-out, designed, and written.
Most of the links came from my predecessor, Barbara Vana, who's moved on to become a classroom teacher at a neighboring school. All the teachers at Nixon contributed as well, by sharing links they've found, and by providing feedback on the site and its content. The logo at the top of the page was originally in small-caps, but the teachers were quick to point out this "problem." It was either they cringe over the capitalization (or lack of it), or I cringe over the mangled design. You know who won.
